Quick Release Sissy Bar is comming - Who wants one?

Got my brackets back from the polishers today, Quite happy with the result....
Also shouted myself a new back rest pad.

Mittzy those look great! I'll be doing something similar in the summer or next winter to polish or chrome them. My priority now is to find the luggage rack, sissy bar and pad now...

Finally got my Triumph Sissy bar and luggage rack +Pad ordered from triumph! They arrived this weekend. I also ordered the stock bolts to attach them together but it seems it didn't fit.... Did you guys pick up some longer bolts to attach the sissy bar and luggage rack to the brackets? I just ordered whatever the stock one comes with.. way way too short. I assume this is a standard size bolt that I can get at home depot or something right? Almost looks like I need another half inch or inch of bolt to get from one side to the other when putting the luggage rack together with the sissy bar.. just wanted to confirm.

since I use the kentucky drive system I shaved about an inch of the Kdrive holding bracket then shaved the big end of the three part bolt holder from mittzy bought longer bolts ( 1 1/2 inch longer ) now I have the QR mounted between the Kdrive and the frame. works perfectly thanks again to mittzy
I do not think you will find the bolts at home depot or any common hardware store the thread is special I had to go to a specialty store for the right bolts .

I don't think we're talking about the same thing, so I've included this image... I have everything else working perfectly fine, but I ordered #3 and #4 from our triumph dealer. They are "M8 x 35" ... im not good at this stuff so forgive me. I think the 35 is for 35mm, I need at least twice that length... when I tried putting the bolt through the sissy bar alone it wouldn't even reach the other side. So im wondering if its possible to get M8 x 60 or something like that at a hardware store.

Sorry for the confusion!

My guess is you don't have the pieces stacked right
The pieces fit exactly, the luggage rack on the outside, the sissy bar on the inside and the brackets between.. perfect fit. The bolts just arent long enough. The M8 x 35 bolts arent even long enough to go through the sissy bar! Looking at some others pictures, the bolts they use dont look like the ones I've got.

I see what you refer to heck I thought you meant the frame mounting any home hardware store can get you a set of 4 bolts and nuts just mount everything with tape stick a pen through make a blade mark and you are set .home hardware bolts and nuts would also be cheaper no doubts.
