I am riding a 2009 Rocket III Standard. Thinking of moving up to a 2013 Rocket III Touring. Are there any major differences in performance? Is it a good overall move?Does the '13 have anything that the '09 docent? Just want to make sure I am doing the right thing?

Totally different bikes. The 09 will be faster and more "on its feet" but the Tourer will be more comfortable, more cargo area, and of course brand new. Get the tourer unless you just want to have a fast bike without other luxuries. Sometimes I wished I had got the Tourer instead of Roadster.

I have a 2007 RIII Classic and I can tell you that I found the foot position to be different on the Tourer. Not sure if they moved the pegs forward or back but I recall sitting on it with a different feel in riding position. My two cents!

I wouldn't trade my 05 Standard for all the tea in china,well maybe a BMW GTL 1600 .........
