Question about Ramair noise

Yeah the "cricket" noise isn't great. I usually get it on a holding throttle round about cruising speed. I have ramair on a 2011 R3T.

The answer is to just open the throttle a bit more

If you can fart like that brutha......you got a big problem!!! haha...

The problem is........ he's got gas.

what kind of stuff did you use? maybe got a link?

I got a roll of the stuff from a guy I used to work with. He worked at a place that made gaskets for automobiles so it doesn't have any info on it. It's black, real dense foam rubber. It's about a 1/4" thick, with adhesive on one side. Sorry :(

If you line the claw with rubber and use a RamAir - you run a real risk of losing filtration area. The First OZ-Claws came lined. I removed the lining - no chirping.

Also - If, as we should, you wear earplugs: you won't hear the crickets.

Just finished adding mine today - oh yeah - no real difference up until above 3000 RPM - then you get the roar:cool::thumbsup:
It is definitely not a tractor noise.
Not noticed a clicking noise but only ridden it with the Ramair on for a short period.

Did notice a strange smell which I need to keep an eye on, hopefully will disappear once settled down?
