Is it just outlaw gangs/ 1% groups they are attacking or

If my son and I came there and rode M/C with you and Mitch and Canberra from this site........would we 5 get the same treatment???

We wouldn't risk going to prison or being refused bail if one of us did break the law .. but a good chance that five bikes riding together would be stopped and questioned. Perhaps a number of times if we were unlucky. Cops are targeting members of outlaw clubs and their associates. An associate could mean an individual who only went on a club Poker Run and had his licence/rego taken down, or more seriously is known to participate in criminal activity with a club member. The cops are hoping to get info /assistance from someone who has an axe to grind against a club or a particular member. There are quite substantial rewards on offer for any information given to the Police... up to $500,000 if that info results in shutting down/imprisoning of a whole chapter of a club. So the pressure on non- members is bound to continue it seems. With that will come the stopping and questioning of everyday riders.

Joey, short answer is who knows. I think it's going to depend on where you ride. Queensland (where TC and Mitch live) is where all the sh#t is happening, although other states seem to be joining in. We'll have a better idea in a few weeks as TC and I will be joining Ponters and some others for a jaunt over in Tasmania. Interestingly, the ACT (ie Canberra) and Tasmania are the only 2 jurisdictions not looking at introducing new laws at this time. The focus of attention should be on 1%ers, but clearly in Queensland that's not the case. Makes you wonder what would have happened when 30 or us went thundering through Queensland last year on our way to Hervey Bay. They (local cops) we nervous about us being there even then.

I thought for sure we would get pulled up on our last ride. But we didn't even though there were 20 or so of us. ..
But Sunday just gone there was a group of riders being questioned at the Rathdowny pub. Don't know who they were. ...

ahhh ****em, honestly mate, for once i cant blame the cops as i know they agree this ****e is as ludicrous as it is. being a 1% aint for me as you know but for f#ck sake, busting nuts of innocent people is completely out of line.

The President of the Life and Death in Toowoomba has had to sell his Tattoo Parlour in Gatton to his son otherwise he would be locked up. He is well respected as a business man and has only been in trouble with the law when he was a teenager and that was a minor traffic offence I think.
