Queensland Bikie Gangs

Agreed T.C. If that is true then this has gone to far. Problem is I think it's still got a way to go yet. Imagine how much this is going to end up costing. 2 days for a bail hearing.

Those in the legal profession claim this is but the tip of the iceberg of a raft of proposed repressive laws that Abbots government is intending to push through. F#ckin clever starting with the bikies as no-one has any sympathy , therefore won't protest against anything that is done to them. Cunning f#ckers that's for sure.

I LOVE MY COUNTRY BUT FEAR MY GOVERNMENT ... now more than ever before.

 appreciate the humour but .. 'our' fundamental rights to freedom of speech and freedom of association (can't ride with three or more other riders whether a club member or not ) are at jeopardy .. these are just buttering us all up for blanket legislation from the Abbott government. Heard that the cops threw 'everyone' out of the Vietnam Veterans clubhouse last night .. everyone !!! Because it's a licenced venue and 'motorcycle riders' were 'associating' there . The Vets were not named among the 26 clubs deemed to be criminal organisation. Excuse me if but this is far from a humorous turn of events.

TC,
This $hit all starts with government control of health care and take away of gun rights . . . downhill from there, Mate.

Sorry Bull .. but for the life of me I can't see where health care has the slightest thing to do with the situation here in Australia .. know the Obama care gig is a big thing over there but fail to see any connection with laws here in Australia mate

Thats ****in astounding! How the **** do they justify busting up a vets gathering! Dishonourable, disrespectful, turncoat ****s. The more people close a blind eye to this **** the worse it will be

TC,
Once you allow the government to control your health care you ARE dependent on them and under their power. Once they disarm you - you be f*cked.
Check out just how Hitler was able to take over total power and control of Germany and ALL its citizens then do what he did. There are also many other historical examples of this same process.

Agree completely Ponters .. busting up the Vets and making them leave their compound is the bottom of the f#ckin barrel in my book. The 'Bunker' has been a place of refuge and safety for those that served and suffered 'for us' .. if this act doesn't raise public wrath I don't know what will. You really have to have spent time down there with the members and their 'doves' (wives) to know what that place and those that belong there really means to those blokes. To violate it like those 30 coppers did last night is un-Australian.

I reckon better some medical help than none because you can't afford it ! For such a big country and the amount of money available for war and weapons you should be able to care for your poor . This has nothing to do with what is going on with the bikies , something has to be done to stop the scumbags from wrecking it for all the honest bikers. I have nothing against those who choose to ride in colours but not the drugs and stand over stuff.

I think what bull and I some times refer to Obama care and gun control and what you are seeing with your Gov.....Is the slow sneaky way the Gov. slips laws into effect with the general population not suspecting what the real intentions are or how far the Gov. is willing to go.

Back in the 60's here the Gov. started with seat belts....then how much horse power you could get in cars...then the gas shortage in the early 70's...new lower tax laws...that has done nothing but increase how much tax you have to pay.....the 80's ...assault weapon ban....yes we had a ban against assault weapons in 84........OSHA laws and new EPA laws.....the war on drugs laws....Now we are back to the gun laws and the new one....health care

What does any of the above have to do with your Gov. rules and laws they are a going to pass.......every thing

They will start with an issue the total population does not care about....like the 1% bikers.....but in that same law that passed will affect all M/C groups as you see now. That is just the beginning of what your Gov. will wind up doing. Because like us here in the USA the American people can not think for themselves or protect themselves from themselves.

I think your Abbots Gov. is going to do to your country what our Gov. has been doing to us for generations. To lead the people of Oz down the Correct path because those in power of the Gov. knows what is best for you.

Now....I know absolutely nothing about the Gov. down there and how it works.......I am not sure if I know much more about the Gov. here. In no way am I trying to down the way your Gov. works. I do think your friends in the legal profession are right about the iceberg.

I believe there is too much read into things some times , i can't believe you don't want medical help for the poorer or low income earner . What do you guys think your government is trying to do other than provide health care ? I don't believe ours is trying to stop normal people riding bikes there is no other hidden agenda here they just want to stop the unlawful things that happen and they need to start somewhere. If it makes for a safer drug free or less drugs then great i'm all for it. It does amaze me how us normal bike riders are not looked upon as equal to these 1%ers until they need us to band together over these new laws ?
