Quebec motorcyclest caught doing 185 kph

Illinois lowered reckless driving to +30 so Itry to stay within 29 mph of the limit. a few years ago when we got +40 I got tagged doing 94 in a 55 on my dyna and the cop asked me why I stopped? apparently the sportbike crowd like to ditch.
I got nailed on I88 for 92, 112, 134 and 154 in the stretch they have it at 55mph by Naperville.... 3 times the limit was to much for them so I had to show up in court...

My better half got a fast driving award the other day....... 85 Kms in a 60 Km zone, thats just thrown $360 down the drain and 4 points. Another few Kms faster and she would be walking for 3 months

D@mn! That's 25 km over and ONLY a tad over 15 mph over the limit.
You live in traffic Nazi land???
Need a min of 20 mph over for just negligent driving here - citation and fine only!

Back in 2005 when i picked up the R3 i was in a state of euphoria i couldn't keep it under 120 mph. I joined R3owners in 2008 and you guys with all your problems scared the be-jesus out of me...;):DNothing like a seized up final drive to burst the bubble..

They say its making the roads safer but it is just a money grabbing exercise, she was on a semi rural road at night with nothing else around except ol mate with a speed camera parked on the side of the road......I have heard our fixed speed cameras only have a couple of Km's tolerance now also.

That was impressive!

You guys should never go to Norway. Probably safest if you don't even think about Norway. If you do 31km/h (about 19.2 mph) over the speed limit in a 60km/h zone, you're doing a minimum of 18 days in gaol and the fines will be counted in the thousands. Oh, and they take your license. You can do 41km/h over on an 80km/-or-more stretch before the same thing happens. Massive fines kick in at literally anything over the limit.

As for me, well, it's one thing to go fast when you can see all the way out to the horizon, but going fast on roads where the forest comes right up to the road and said forests have a fair amount of deer... yea no, I've hit enough of those buggers in cars, don't want one with me on the bike.

The stupidest speeder I ever knew was in a car. It was a new Ford GTHO, in the early '70s, and he was going 90mph, in a 30mph zone, in suburban back streets, past a school - for blind and deaf children. He was given a $60 fine. The idiot - against all advice - appealed it to court with the argument that he was a good driver, and driving a good handling high performance car, and so therefore it was safe. As a result he got to spend three months at Maitland gaol.
