Fitted triple K&N's to my bike today ... going to need a tune myself pretty soon. Hoping to fit the new cam chain weekend after next. Mitch/Hanso any idea which one would best suit my bike with the 3 into 1 system ?.. To be honest i've never really read any of the 'tune related' posts , thought i'd wait till i needed one myself. Not even sure what's involved , only ever had the TOR's tune that was put in by Dealer in Darwin. Appreciate any advice/assistance.

Im sure we will find a good one for u mate no problem
I think i have one for tripples with the pred system that might be suitable for u mate but we can try a few . Im happy to load one in for u anytime mate.
Personally i think the pcv is the way to go though in the long run either dynoed or Auto tune but in the meantime im sure we can dig up a desent tune for u mate.

the Tors/ triple tune which is nothing like your dealer tune is the tune that Both Mitch and I use would be a good starting point how far from Mitch are you, probaly save a lot of mucking around if the first time he shows you and helps to down load the Software if not close be only to happy to help a send links as nessasary :)

Is the 3in1 a fairly open system much baffles cos if thats the case yeah go the pred tune I found it a little rich for our (mitch and my) set up but if the 3in1 is freeflowing it should work well if you have not got it I can resend it mitch or I can send it directly to you TC and definately go the PCV +AT you won't regret the expense as it just makes the bike Purr!!!!! If you decide to go that way let me know and I will send you the PCV map I made which with the AT will give you the best of both worlds (economy and Power);)

Personally, and you're probably expecting this (although I notice you didn't as ME :(), you could also consider a Dobeck. I had the factory TORS tune loaded when I fitted TORS. When I fitted my triples though I also added the Dobeck. My thinking was that I was pretty happy with the TORs, although I knew it ran a little lean and was popping a fair bit, but figured it's at least been mapped properly for the bike i.e. I figure Triumph just might know something...... When I added triples and removed secondaries I definitely needed more fuel in there but didn't necessarily want a remap - and I sure didn't want to start messing around with tunes. Anyway, it's just an option. You may as well get Mitch to load whatever he and Hanso reckon and if that f#cks it up you can always go back to where you are now and think again.

Most dyno places use Dynojet so id go power commander as u also have the auto tune option jmtcw

Triumph tunes to to keep the EPA and ADR and probally another half dozen Gov Authoritys happy and I don't think it is likely to f#ck up the PCV is a much more accurate tuning device or it would not be residing in MY bike I'll tell you that the Dobeck only targets THREE Zones golably not every throttle/ rev combination as the PCV does

OK I should have also said, TC, that although the Dobeck's an option you'd better do what Hanso and Mitch tell you or they'll nag you till your ears bleed. :D ;)

Actually, if the truth be known, I'd be 'upgrading' to the PCV + AT if I could afford it. I think. Or maybe I wouldn't.

Or someone who can dyno without the use of either device ;)

Got no idea what any of the PC's , AT's blah blah blahs mean. Like i told Mitchy i come from an era that used Tally-Ho papers on the points.... I will take it to the Dyno guy that dyno'd Donnys bike after he fitted the hot cams. Donny didn't need to buy a Power Commander , cost him $400 to get his bike dyno'd. Thanks fellas but it's all f#ckin double dutch to me
