Thats awesome...I love candy black cherry, was thinking a custom paint job at one stage but then decided to take TC's advice, get the bloody thing home and ride it. Some of the lads are getting shirty as i haven't been on a group ride for too long.

Will yours be painted in time for the bay?

yes..the guy wants it for about 3 weeks, I'm getting him to fit the belly pan as it needs slight mods to fit around the crash bars.

I'd like to see'em too... gota get sheilds made for mine before summer anyway. Good to get ideas ;) will the carbon fibre ones you were talking about be similar ??

LOL, you won't want these ones. Will post a pic later today. He's made up an interim shield whilst the carbon fibre ones are being made so not very good looking.

As you all know me and Greg (Harley) h ad to go early, which way did you go back to Brissy and what time did yas get back?

I left around 2 and got back to the bay 7pm, not a bad pace really stopped twice for fuel, one on the coast then Gympie. got bloody cold going home around Gympie

I pulled mine apart when i got home fixed the airhorn was a loose wire and tightened the headstock bearing it feels much better .
Had to go and get a 30mm half inch drive socket to undo the top yoke cos my set only goes up to 27mm but i have one now atleast and i also got myself a bike jack from super cheap for $149 it works great has a 680 kg load rating and is foot operated for lifting and letting her down .

I have the same jack in orange, (could use Hanso logic bright colour must make it better)from repco sale I think around same price. Even got straps to tie the beast into place, but bloody hard to get front wheel off the ground must be a balance thing, but get to impatient.

Good to see you fixed you headstock its a bastard when they're lose.

I have the same fast orange Repco jack as you ( on special for $149) at least if I trip over it I can't blame it not being bright enought:rolleyes: I made a bracket that attaches to the lugs under the bike and it sits neatly on one of the jack legs to prevent it moving:)

Yeah that extra peace of mind would be great knowing she aint going anywhere.
I just jack her up from the rh side in gear so she dont roll and have the sidestand down that way i am on the side without the stand when letting her down and when she leans the other way once tyres contact the ground she goes straight onto the side stand:cool: they arent a bad jack for the money very happy with that. The mrs isnt though becoase i was only going down for a 30mm socket and i came back with the jack and a socket and a set of spanners and another set of hex keys and vice grips and a few other bits and pieces lol:D

I modified mine (Same Jack) by welding two lugs that marry up the the under frame.
