Went down to my local dealer to have a look at the thunderbird in the new blue haze , really like it told the manager if he does me a GREAT deal i might pull the trigger , he then informed me that there were non available . In the red or blue haze , which for the extra 500 dollars i thought was well worth it .
So unfortunatly , for him I had to ask him to do me a TERRIFIC deal , cos otherwise , i won't be buying since i can't get the color i like , although i had never seen the blue or red haze before , i did'nt want black , don't care for the white stripe on the blue , so was always thinking the silver with the black stripe .
Anyway did'nt ask him to drop the price but what he did give me was a TERRIFIC trade in price on my street bob , that i bought of him 2 and a bit years ago , gave me a fair deal on a couple off accessories , basicly
Bike 23,000 on road drive away with 12 months reg .
19,000 trade in on 2008 street bob , price was 23500 plus on roads 2 years and 10,000 klm ago .
quick release back rest , touring rider & passenger seat , short Tors mufflers , and the optional handlebars n the drag bar style ,
accesories total 2450 fitted , got them for 1900 fitted .
All up new 2010 thunderbird , with the accessories i wanted drive away 6 grand changover , I am rapt forget the extras there just what you do for your own benefit , but to walk in and walk out with a 4 grand changover after using the Harley for 2 years , i think is a good good deal .
I asked him for a Terrific deal and thats what i got , Now the Rocket tourer , has off pick up day next friday is gonna have a baby brother in the garage with him
