Hello ! advice to all !
In our Forum here in Europe we discuss a big Problem with the propellershaft. If you change the rear tire it is important to check the "connection from the propellershaft to the rear wheel" it is simply there are only 4 screws ! in some (older?) bikes it is completly dry and rusty see the Pictures as Attachment !
Greetings from Vienna Peter !
OK, thank you, but this is, according Triumph, maintenence-free !! And much biker and dealer dont think abaut this to control..... On my Rocket (2011) i check this one Month ago and it was OK ! (see Pictures as attachment) greetings Peter!
Hello Peter. This is an old subject that has been discussed on this and other forums many times. The answer is to lube the splines with grease with a minimum moly content of 60% at every tire change.

Better to post many times rather than miss some critical information. There may be new members that aren't aware of this potential problem especially as Triumph don't have it in their service schedule.
