Personally it looks normal I wish I had my other bike here to check bit its 1000 mile away for another week. I look at the picture and think thats there so your foot don't slide outwards and off the pedal. It can be easily adjusted to the rider. Let me jump up on my computer and I will show you the same pedal adjusted to clear the rotrex breathing attachment.

That did cross my mind... The research I've done so far show many Rockets the brake pedal angled the same as mine...

I think I got my answer... I found this pic of a Rocket 3 Classic on Google. The brake pedal angle is the same as mine.

Have you considered coming directly off the shift spline and eliminate all that linkage?

I prefer the linkage... I think it's in keeping with the whole "over the top" theme of the Rockets

Ha, that's not my floor, that's my bike lift I don't know what I would do without it, it makes working on a bike so much easier. When I don't have a bike on it I use it as a table
