I was at the dealer yesterday getting a software update on my Indian Challenger. While waiting and chatting with the crew I was told Bridgestone may be working on a tire specific to 2.5L bikes. It sure would provide more confidence with additional tire choices. Especially since I purchased a 5 year tire and wheel warranty with my new bike.

It's funny, I have exactly the same bikes as you (plus a Ducati SFV4S...) and probably the same problems! My Challenger accelerator goes wrong all the time, the anti-skid doesn't work, the swingarm makes a weird noise, etc.
As for the rear tire for the Rocket, Bridgestone released the Exedra G852 (with a slightly higher profile) which seems suitable for the Rocket. On the other hand, at the front, they only have the "old" Exedra Max...not sure that this one goes well with the G852!

Fortunately I've had no issues with my Challenger and have almost 11,000 miles on it. It has been the most comfortable and sporty bike since new. My third bike is a 2017 Indian Roadmaster, uneeded, but difficult ot part with as it's been solid as a rock. The tire rumor came from the Rocket 3 tech who says he read about a possible new specific tire. We'll see! Have a great day!

Just put on a G852 paired temporarily with Avon Cobra Chrome in 140/75/17 seems ok. Put a few hundred miles on them in Arkansas hills no complaints but the Avon is about done.

I looked into the G852 some time back - in comparison with the Exedra Max. Here's what I found (according to posted information on dealer websites)...
It seems the G852s are made specifically for certain Japanese bikes. The 240/55R 16 G spec tires are the OE rear tire for Suzuki Boulevard cruiser 2008-13.

Edit : Those are H rated (130 mph) with a load rating of 73 (805 lbs.). Looks like more reliable information below. See @RUN666

.....whereas the Exedra Max is V rated (149 mph) with a load rating of 77 (908 lbs.)

Keep us informed on how you like the G852. It's good to have options.
