I do not admire or lust after many rockets, but Ponters ole banger is truly up there as one of the best ever,
none too shabby in the power department either.
A ready made rocketship for a very lucky buyer.
yep I have seen one in the flesh at Peter Stevens in Geelong last Monday ...... I shook my head and walked away..... I have to ask what drugs the designer was on
Hey, it's a motorcycle; I'd probably like riding it too. I bet it's comfortable, well equipped and goes at least as good as V Star 650, off-set of course by the embarrassment you'd feel.
I have been around Tassie with the .com guys and a guy on a Cross Roads I think it was called, its motor pulled like a locomotive and it was well built, it even seemed to handle quite well, I am sure it would even be a nice bike to ride but the Victories Styling department just plain Sucks
It's OK to admit one's imperfections!
A friend of mine in QLD who used to be on this forum, moved to a George Jetson Barca Lounger and loves it to death!
Two others I know have done the same and are very happy with them.
Likely a fine motor - still butt-ass ugly! IMHO.
Sonny Barger was riding one last time I saw him. He said it was the best bike he had ever ridden - and he had ridden them all - soft tails, pan heads, road kings, etc., etc., etc. In my inside voice I said "yeah, but you've only ever ridden Harleys". I suggested that he go to a dealer and take an RIII for a run.
The styling doesn't do a thing for me. However, they don't look too bad when ridden two up.
