You stated: "D@mn thing is either very ugly or very beautiful, can't decide which." That sounds exactly like our Rockets!
I near pulled the trigger on the 627 figuring with 8 rounds the ammo count tis as good as my HK P7 M8 or G43. Then the size issues regarding CCW changed my mind.
The .357 is an awesome caliber, but my accuracy is better and faster with a 9.

The 627 is no light weight for sure. I picked up a 7 round 3" S&W 357 Magnum and turned it into a range shooter, nice gun but too heavy for CCW. I guess if i was twenty years younger it wouldn't matter... I live a few hours away from S&W Springfield location, they are great folks to deal with. I've had a couple of site issues that i took to their plant to get adjusted, each time they through in a new magazine for free.

Oh yeah, that 627 weighs something like 38 oz. The PC 327 on the other hand weighs 21 1/2 oz, about the same as a Glock 26. That scandium is pretty amazing stuff. Problem its still a big old honking N frame. You could probably carry it in the winter but winters are pretty short around here. I suspect it would be pretty hard to conceal in shorts and a t-shirt.

Here's my newest; a 30th anniversary present from my wife:

Yes, she not only has great taste in firearms; but she's a graduate of Brownie's Threat Focused Pistol course herself.

She also understands what "sights are for the unenlightened" means, as she no longer has need of them herself....

Speaking of accuracy. Took my wife to the range with me a couple of weeks ago. First time shooting the new Colt, as usual, gun is way more accurate than I am. Handed the wife my Glock 19 and she proceeded to punch out the center of the target at about 10 yards. That was the first time in about 10 years she's gone with me. It may be another 10 before I take her again.

Women have a knack for point and shoot at close range.

That there would be REAL SWEET in a 4".
For me, a .357 under 4" looses too much accuracy.

I haven't read most of the preceding comments - basically because guns , though I enjoy shooting them, don't make me hard - but has anyone suggested designing a laser targeting, optically guided, helmet-integrated, automatic pistol mount... kinda' like a helmet mounted GoPro for a gun? Seems like it would pragmatically handle most of the important issues for those who feel the need to carry while on two wheels.

My Cobra and Apache driver buddies have them on thier rides, why not?

Neat little gun/idea. I wonder if the .223 and 7.62 can still easily penetrate common Kevlar vests?
The .223 loses about 1000ft per sec over a much longer rifle barrel. I can't imagine trying to control the 7.62 chambering. I'd think a 454 Casull would be less punishing to the shooter.

Just found out about this pistol. Don't know much about it. I don't plan to get one either, just thought I would share seeing how some like to collect that which is different.
