I'm riding roadster too. I was thinking about the cans fouling on the fender so assumed you were riding touring (narrower tail) But yeah obviously wrong on source of fouling.

Since the bevel housing the same on both I would assume that anything that works for one would work for the other like you suggest.

@Tal Good idea, when I talked to GAZI i mentioned piggybacks and they seemed to agree in that they suggested remote reservoirs and I got the impression from them that they were necessary. But yeah maybe that is not the case if shocks can be custom built

I had the Wilber nightline 642's...i go 240lb so with gear i spose ide be 255-260?....The wilbers are very solid and with bumpy roads they can bounce you a bit. In saying that, they have huge adjustment so i would highly recommend them for you.

Valving rates are chosen by Wilbers based on your weight and specified riding style when ordering. Needless to say most street riders still indicate a preference for a sporty high performance street setting when they really need a softer country road type one.

Anything "made to measure" is going to be better than what they come with.

@MikeCR - what do you have in the front? - I ask as I can guaranty that you will very quickly notice front end deficiencies if you fit a bespoke rear end.

...i agree completely...you should also put progressive springs and grade 7 fork oil in your front forks to balance things nicely...the bike will be very noticeably better.
If I was fitting Wilbers rears - I'd fit Wilbers fronts!. That was the point of my enquiry.

If I was starting from scratch TODAY - I would simply be calling MAXTON. Well no! - first I'd call Damian at DMX just down the road from me to see if he has started building fork innards. DMX SUSPENSION|Especialistas en Suspensiones.Fabricación,Reparación y preparación|.

In the US - I'd call Traxxion Dynamics. Home - Traxxion Dynamics

@barbagris Indeed, I plan for the next project to be front forks. Last I heard MAXTON does not ship to states is that correct? Traxxion AK-20s have definitely caught my eye.

Not to get too off topic but it seems like wilber only has front springs which I could then use different oil weights with while Traxxion actually has cartridge replacements? I haven't done too much research into front yet, just REALLY want to get rid of the short 412s on there now.
