Petition to get michelin making rocket tires

Me too man but wouldn't it be nice to chose a quality tire from either style?
Imagine if we could get them to make a motorcycle tire with the tread design and depth of the G-Force.
I have some time every week to let them know that I'm not going away. I just ask for some help. Send them what ever you like just be persistent.

Hello Tony,

Thank you for your email. We welcome the opportunity to serve you.

Great ride. We are sorry we do not make tires for your Rocket III.

We have forwarded your request to management.

We appreciate your business and thank you for choosing Michelin.

Dave, you are probably right if we're expecting them to design a tyre specially for a Rocket but extending the size range of an existing tyre shouldn't involve too much R&D. Surely there are some flatter tyres on the books already that could potentially be what we're after - just not available in our size. Fact is that Metz and Cobra are of a style of tyre that is not ideal for a bike of the size and torque of a Rocket. This is HellFire's point when he says the R3 is made for darkside. At least a car tyre gets a decent amount on the road. Surely someone in MT world can recognise the gap between Metz/Cobra and CT?????????????

Well I just emailed back and told them that we need a motorcycle tire with the tread design and wear of the BF G-Force. I do love my DS but I am doing this for the rest of those that do not want to go DS. I love a good battle anyway. Especially when its for someone else.

I made some contacts a couple of years ago got same answers, was not a big enough market share to make it worth while basically go away. Now triumph went to the 180 size on the tour which several companies make so that makes the market share for the 240 even smaller as one factory rep told me not enough money to be made which makes sense.

I still will not take no for an answer
