Hello Nolton,

Thank you for your email. We welcome the opportunity to serve you.

We appreciate your request for 240/ 50ZR16 size tire for your Triumph Rocket III . Unfortunately, as you know at the present time we do not build a tire in this size. Your request will be forwarded to the appropriate people at Michelin for future consideration. Please check back with us in 6 months for status update.

We appreciate your business and thank you for choosing Michelin.

It is our goal to ensure that your issue has been resolved or your question answered to your satisfaction. If we can assist you further, please respond to this email or call us at 1-800-642-4354 (toll free) between 8:00AM and 8:00PM Eastern Time Monday through Friday or between 8:30AM and 4:30PM Eastern Time on Saturday.

Sincerely,

If everyone would start emailing them, they might do something before 6 months.
I rang Michelin Australia some 4 mths ago and basicly the same response over the phone the crux of the problem is there is no other bike apart from the Rocket that uses that size combination, unfortunitly Triumph got the wrong friggin tyre company to make thier tyres

Triumph was sleeping with the devil on that one.

I would love to see if we pushed enough, they would make the tire. Now that we have a email address we could start sending pics of the dream tire.
Flood there email with comments, ideas and pics. They cant ignore everyone. Soon enough they will forward our suggestions to someone higher up.

Maybe we should all send them the ****ty dead Metz cases (and worn out Cobras). Seriously, instead of just asking, let them know every time we change one over; maybe include a photo. "Spent another $400 today - 4th time this year" sort of thing. Darksiders need to say what their experience was - only got 5K out of the Metz and now run a car tyre. It will erk some of you but you need to state or imply there is no feasible alternative at present. Before long they'll see how many and how often they're replaced and maybe have a sense of the size of the market and the gap that needs filling.

I'm sure they have access and a research dept that tell them how many of what size is manufactured each year. If most owners didn't replace their factory Metzlers with another they would see that we aren't happy. I'm so happy with my BFG G-Force that I'll never buy another.
