Hmmm pipes.
I like Jardines my self and Travelguys Preds and steet thugs are cool
Do you want pipes for looks???Power?? or sound ??

All 3 in an ideal world, but it would depend on HOW good the looks, sound or performance was Since

I have seen some of othe preds and they look and sound pretty sweet and i've read good things about the performance - but looks like Travelguy would make em only for the special people haha

Jardines and Zards are prob 2nd choice. I've bought it with Madaz pipes on it, but have been hard pressed to find anything on them - so i guess ill just find out how they go in a couple of weeks.

I think reading this forum just makes the wait worse

Or maybe these.. Foran 3-2 - sound pretty sweet and look nice and clean.

I think you actually drop power with the zards,they look good and sound good but thats about where it stops
The forans might be worth a look.
I picked up my new bike yesterday and will be putting Jardines on it
Prolly will get them from here

Mine wernt that loud.I was going to try and shorten the baffles to make them louder

Hey Mate,

Welcome and good to see another Aussie. I have staintune pipes with the staintune collector, which elminates the cat box. Also a tuneboy and pod air filters.

Bike Gear Warehouse based in Narellan NSW has exceptionally good prices on the Jardine big boss system. Google their Website. I've heard that while Jardines are a full system (ie include headers) that the quality of chrome and gaskets etc. are a little lacking.

Dennis Foran based in Gosford NSW will make any exhaust you want and prices are reasonable.

Staintune is most expensive, though excellent quality. I like their deep rumble, which is loud enough without being offensive.

Prices are competitive and include shipping to Oz. There's a sound clip too.

Have to say I'm very happy with Staintune collector and TORS. Sounds great and goes better. Don't know about comparisons with other options though.

Hmmm, must be a thing with the Staintunes here in OZ, I too have them with collector, tuneboy, pods etc......

I watched a few youtube clips on jardines and staintunes - both sound pretty nice. But the jardines sound more manly

Gotta wait till 3rd of Dec till my baby gets here, but I guess it's not too bad with how the weather has been here in Perth lately. Be here right in time for summer tho!!!! Probably get use to it on the Madaz exhaust and upgrade the shocks/seat/highway pegs first.

I think about this stuff too much, but hey thats half the fun... right?
