Passenger Pegs...

My right side passenger peg keeps falling down when im out riding..any one else have this problem and if so how do you tighten the bloody thing?
 
I use to have a similar issue where it would become very loose and rotate on my old rocket. Took it to service and told them...they got it sorted for me
 
Those of you who have the new gen Rocket will know these pegs are spring loaded...i think...and they cannot be tightened by turning the screw which holds them onto the bike...its got me scratching my head...

Not that I've pulled the R3's pegs apart but on previous bikes, it's either been a spring washer or ball bearing pushed by a spring providing the tension/pressure.
Could just be a case of too much dirt build up jamming something up - a good clean & relube might do the trick.
 
Only solution I can think of is to take the assembly apart and then start head scratching again.
Could be dirt in the detent.......if it has one of sorts.......could be a broken spring......if it has one..........
