Hah, I continue to be schooled in that what we here in The States call Clear Coat (polyurethane enamel) - The Euro fella's call Lacquer.
So my apologies again to @El Bruto for the language barrier from another thread.........................
Here, Lacquer is a 2 part paint, just color + thinner, that can come as a base color or a clear coat, but is not even the same animal as polyurethane enamel. So, lesson learned. My bad.

There is also though, the old style Cellulose paints which did use a real 'lacquer' top coat as found on 60's etc Triumphs - Google 'Triumph motorcycle paint codes' and you will find much more info.

Yea Ish, I understand all that - I got into a disagreement with El Bruto over said subject & that was my point, that we quit using lacquer (the version I described) decades ago! I started painting back in 1979 & that was about the time we all started moving from lacquer to "base coat-clear coat" urethane. So, it was 2 complete different animals. But thanks for your input. If you are looking for a small touch up kit, see your local dealer. They can supply the small automotive size retouch paint kit. The touch up kit part number is T3120330 followed by the Triumph paint code (ex. Sapphire Blue is T3120330JM).

I have a 14 touring, phantom black/ cranberry red. ColorRite paint codes 30230,10230. 30055,1005. Each colour requires a combination of two colours . + primer, + clearcoat. Hope this helps
