Yea Ish, I understand all that - I got into a disagreement with El Bruto over said subject & that was my point, that we quit using lacquer (the version I described) decades ago! I started painting back in 1979 & that was about the time we all started moving from lacquer to "base coat-clear coat" urethane. So, it was 2 complete different animals. But thanks for your input.
