P0122 error code MAP

thanks for your help, really im not an expert but i try my best

the first block of the sheet its with and external ground and then the other its mixing with the others

the pink and green yellow its the signal from the ecu of the voltage that we use to adjust the tps sensor, because when i try to adjust them the primary only does .15 to .20 (correct me if im wrong)

and the secondray gives the right number 5 to 7 and then adjust to 6 volts.

talking with a buddy of mine he says maybe is the computer some resistance that maybe brakes and the ecu doesnt send the right signal for the tps.
the engine number is a 6 digit number
most of this is wrong
you are not listening to me

you need to go on post# 8
the ecu sends 5volts reference volts to the tps pink wire
the ecu grounds the tps pink/black wire and that is where the ecu monitors the voltage so when the ecu sees no voltage it sets code p0122
the sensor wire pink/yelow sends a voltage to the ecu computer
FORGET ABOUT WHAT YOUR BUDDIES SAY DON'T LISTEN TO ANYONE EXCEPT ME AND RIIIRTURBO

sorry 621185 the las 6 numbers of the vin i think

the ecu sends 4.86 volts

with the tps sensor plugged in and peel on the cables the multimeter shows with ground (pink black) and the signal (green yellow) ranges 5 volts to 12 volts

the wiring diagram that has the green/yellow is old like my 07
the wiring for your bike is very different showing that the tps sensor should be pink/yellow
i am lost with the harness change can you find out the engine number that that harness came from?
can you post a link for the wiring diagram you are using.

i think they are the same wiring the only diference is the flylead for the gps, mine doesnt have it connects directly to the harness. (tps sensor)

when i change the main harness i noticed that somebody change the wiring for the old one with the flylead

talking with RIIIR he says the 2014 and up it doesnt have fly lead.

if you disconnect your primary tps sensor and the flylead they should be the same colors than mine

your connection should be

PINK
PINK BLACK
GREEN YELLOW

mine

PINK YELLOW
BLACK
BLACK YELLOW

tell me how to test the voltage witch probe red or black exactly where should go and i test it

i dont have any electrical diagram, i was searching in the internet but no sure witch one is the right one

1st you check you need to see if it has close to 5 volts on the pink tps wire.
2nd you need to check the pink/black wire to see if it is ground.
3rd if those two check good then while it is hooked up you probe the wire (pink/yellow or the gray/yellow) and monitor the voltage while working the throttle should be about .72 to about 5 volts.
ps

Do not know what you are talking about when you say flylead ?
you could tie into the tps and use the ecu 5 volts reference and the ecu ground but you can not use the tps signal for anything else
how was it working before you changed the harrness?

So your original harness had the adapter "flylead", and 3 wire plug for the GPS?
But the new harness has a 4 wire GPS plug?

Hypothesis:
Wondering if your bike being a 2013 build might've had the early Roadster wiring setup.
Which had a 3 wire GPS.
And the 3 wire GPSs were faulty.
So previous owner upgraded it to the new 4 wire GPS (standard on 2014+ Roadsters), which would require the fly lead to adapt the 2013 harness to the 2014+ GPS.
But it also would have required a reconfiguration of the tacho wiring.
And now you replaced the harness with a fresh one, (2014+), which they supply with a 4 wire GPS but also a flylead which confuses people, leaving out the adapter flylead is causing an issue.

If the answer to both questions is yes then I'd say we need to reconfigure the tacho wiring so it matches the 2014 harness/4 wire GPS.

Sorry for jumping in and interrupting your process TURBO200R4 , just seems like given bike age a photo of 3 wire GPS this might well be the issue.

hey guy thanks for coming in to help this guy
this is above my skills so if you can help that is great.
i do not understand what all has to do with tps code.
