Owner Review TFC

Bull to the chit. I do like to have a bit of my own say in the matter. ABS is good but all the other stuff should be rider selectable.

My R3R is also about 80 mph at 3000 rpm, but in 5th.
I wonder what the gears and final drive ratios are on the newby?

Info on the gearing here Bull; the missing link is the torsional damper, but from photos it looks like direct coupling to trans output shaft i.e. 1:1?

2020 Rocket 3 TFC owner's manual out now

Great write up. Question on recommended octane? Same as our old bikes or do they recommended higher octane gas.

The owner's manuals specify 95 RON;

Happy with your choice of the GT screen ?

Yes I just responded to you on another thread about this matter.

thanks and very interesting to see that you've decided to add the GT screen on the TFC given that such a screen is not really for the protection thus apparently it'd be justified rather or equally for the look, so I may end up enjoying as well the look of my R even better with the screen

My local dealer somehow got a TFC and sold it quickly.

Great review! I have to say that everything you mention from the mechanical and performance perspective is spot bon and exactly as I'm finding my 2021 GT.
My other two bikes (Ducati X Diavel and Indian Chief Classic are both Black and I decided on the Storm Gray which I love.
I also agree that compared to my 2007 Rocket Classic done with the 240 Carpenter "Killer" kit, the GT is a bit soft but I am loving its sophistication, handling and adequate power.
Why Triumph didn't shoot for 200-250 HP with a 2500 cc engine just floors me. My 1260 cc Ducati has the same HP!!...and is much faster!
