wearing them out is one thing , but balling the edges is something quite different . That tyre gotta be hanging out there and spinning to do that ! youse crazy man !

These are Artrax disc's.
They were hanging on the wall at a local M/C shop, when I asked how much it was something like NZ$400 each..... Nope, not paying that.
Anyway, every time I went in there these disc's "snagged my eyeball" !
So I made an offer of something like NZ$400 for the pair.
Pete the parts manager said O.K. better cash in the till than those hanging on the wall, they've been there 8 years !

Boats are less the 200 feet. still its nice seeing her again brings back memories. Fid quite a bit of work on her along with the Iowa.

Went TAD on the Iowa for a six month med cruise. Loved every minute of it. The boatsman mates would shine every piece of brass daily. When it came time to paint they used artist brush's to cut in and rollers to avoid brush marks. Signalbridge was spotless. A lot of pride and hard work by the crew keeping her spotless and shined. Your pic brought back a lot of memoirs. THANKS.
