As I said before it amazed me watching Little Pete RIP (God bless him) tippy toeing backing his Rocket out of parking places, I have trouble and my feet are flat on the deck standing off the seat to back the Touring out .that's Peter second on the left

I've been out riding quite a bit this summer and there are gaps in my forum attendance.
Did we ever learn any more details about Pete's fatal crash?

Sorry about the fuzzy photo it was in my pre new Cannon you beaut camera days, unfortunately the info on the accident are not easy to find and we have respected Peters Family's privacy in the matter ,

I didn't know the family wished to keep the details private.

I don't know if Peters family were aware of his affiliation with the Rocket 3 Forum or his involvement with us ,the News of his passing and subsequent Funeral all arrived too late for any of his fellow Rocketeers, even his Riding buddy Grahame was unaware, so it was all over before anything could have been done as far as paying our respect at his Funeral .

That there really SUX!!!
I just spent the last week of my best buddy's (for 47 years) life with him up and through the end.
Although it was extremely hard to do, I am so very grateful for the experience.
I feel so sorry for all of Pete's riding mates that were left out.

Ok so what would be the one accessory you wish you could have for your bike that isn't currently made or easily available to us Rocket 3 owners? Could be anything....

Mine would be more wheel options. I think we have what 1 aftermarket option.

The R3T would absolutely PERFECT with:

6th gear
fully-integrated touring/nav/entertainment package.....frame-mounted fairing, detachable-bags & trunk
Jardines/R3R tune
