on to frankfurt...

made it to the vancouver airport cargo building so now it is up to air can to deliver the bike to frankfurt I will be seating just above it for 9 hrs and some....................
however while riding from 50 miles out of vancouver the gps started to flash a message that outside power to the display was lost ...then power came back and forth till the airport however 3 miles from the cargo office I stopped to ask direction so I shut down the motor when I turned the key back on after the sweep the start button was DEAD ...no response like no power to the startmotor ...I shook the bike and rolled it three feet and I was able to start I am scratching my head has to be a connection somewhere and if I cannot get out of frankfurt airport it is going to be rather painful situation any idea for a quick look over when I pick it up ...would hate to start a trip like this

Kinda sounds like the ignition switch thing I have read about many times. Hoping that is not the case!

With no knowledge, I would expect a 2013 bike to have the relay fitted OEM.

Check all your relevant fuses and relays, try wiggling when you get it started and see if that causes the cutout.

Check regulator plugs are not loose and that the bike is charging.

Try cycling clutch and kickstand cutout switches. Also check their electrical systems are not cut, loose or corroded etc. If not loose or damaged visually spray with electrical cleaner, separate and clean etc.

Wiggle or operate them when you get it started and see if that causes the cutout.

Ask for Markus. It is 38 km away from the airport.
This workshop is more competent than the Triumph Flagship Store of Frankfurt, which is located outside of Frankfurt, 32 km from the airport.
