Oklahoma Bike Week June 13-23rd

Oklahoma Bike Week will be in Sparks, Oklahoma June 13th-23rd. Barring any tornados!, I will be heading up there to Shawnee June 13th, staying with a friend.. and heading back home to SA June 17th. We're kind of winging it on whether we stay at the camp ground for the weekend or head back and forth... But it's always funner to go in with no plans.. I hear they have paved most of the roads to the rally site.. Last time, my Rocket was covered in red clay.. it looked like i had just done the mud drags!..

I had been thinking about this but could not get there b4 the 14-15th. But I just heard about the bbq festival in NC I am really itching to get back on the road...

Whatever I decide I may be able ro get out of here on the 11th after an appointment in the am.

All right.. I'm geared up and ready to head out of here on Thursday to Oklahoma.. I plan on taking my time and heading up Hwy 281 and other back roads on my way. Might add a an hour or so to my trip, but I have the Rocket.. on straight stretches, it can be like a time machine...

Mexican.. my number is 210-393-8613 is you want to hook up. Also, my Rocket is not hard to find. I have some pictures of the sea of bikes from the last time I was up there and you can spot my bike instantly.. lol

Vanguard.. if you can make it that would be cool too!.. Envious of those long trips!

It was a toss up and decided to go to NC. Had I not had the appt today I probably would have come ro OK. Then again, I was concerned about the weather coming there too

TX, how long are you planning on been at Sparks? I was planning on getting there saturday sometime

We'll probably be there Friday and Saturday, maybe even Sunday. I'm packi.g a tent and sleepi.g bag just in case.. lol. Don't know if we're camping or just running back and forth, but better to be prepared. My buddy James lives about 20 miles from Sparks.
