Yep, I even broke every biker's rule and arrived in a Volvo station wagon as a passenger!

Claims in process, but who knows how they price or replace the now un-attainables.
Maybe I will just see what happens and then open the Tardis and see what pops out!

I expect my next pair of crash bars are waiting under my table and they're still cheaper than training wheels!
Please REMEMBER I have an active claim in progress so keep the comments complementary please!
Accident Location:
M5 South-Western Motorway Toll Road heading East just after the Hume H’way crossover. The Hume H’way X’ing Location confirmed with Toll road emergency crew who attended.
Day:
Thursday 29/09/2
Time:
Approx 04:15PM
Description:
It was raining and I was in the middle lane heading east to the River Road turnoff. I was riding very cautiously and had no issues on the previous 250km from Canberra. I was travelling just under the 100kmh limit and had maintained a extra big gap from traffic ahead of at least 70 metres. I had just passed under the crossover when 2 or 3 of the vehicles ahead activated their brakes so I went to cover my front brake with a trailing throttle and without warning headshake or anything I was down.
First realization was that I sliding backwards on my stomach like a deflated fluoro yellow Michelin man doing a face down 'Snow Angel until I came to a stop behind my bike in the LH lane just before the merging traffic lane.
Quite a long slide and I had thought about getting up a couple of times but realised the ground passing by my nose was sliding pretty quick still and remembered how you tumble and break stuff when you try and get up.
I was fortunate due to the large gaps I had left around me to not hit anything or be struck from behind.
A kindly person stopped and remained in their vehicle blocking the LH lane behind me so I could pick up some scattered luggage and get myself and eventually the bike off the road.
The bike was completely horizontal on its LHS facing backwards. I managed to get it partially upright and two unknown men stopped and helped me get it upright and departed. I then backed it off the LH lane and parked it on the verge. That is when the Toll Road Emergency van appeared on the merge lane and then reversed to my location to assess. They offered to arrange a tow or if I could ride they would escort me to the nearest turnoff and a safe location. They carried some of my loose luggage and lead me off the tollway.
I toasted a Bell full face with a temple gouge/ scrape and an open face that was in my luggage got squashed too,.
The Triumph Fluro yellow Expedition jacket and gloves held up very well with just a couple of minor pocket tears and the cheap new kevlar cargo pants were also unscatheed except for a few tears in the cargo pockets.
My mate turned up a while later and lead me the 10km to his place.
We drove to the RDU and got stuck in a 3-4 hour motorway traffic jam after a fatality road accident ahead so the 5 hour run was about 9.
I rode it back to Canberra Tuesday before the next rains arrived which continue now and until next Monday.
I'll get it to the assessors Mon/Tues next week.
Then I got Covid positive on a RATs test and am awaiting my PCR test results.
The lexan screens are really tough.
