Oil light

I was going to go there too, but it's only a 2016 and he didn't seem to have issues prior to the oil change. Although he did say that the dealer had a hard time on the previous oil change, so who knows.

Thanks all for you help,new day. Yes 2016 bike very good condition ,procedure as stillserving said. Last yearDealer had bike for 4 hours during service( basic oil change) said he had problems, I thought he must have been the apprentice. Just checked oil level- same as I left it last night 14 hours ago.

Is there rubber pipes from the oil tank to engine . Could one of the pipes either be blocked or collapsed inside ?

Hi I guess thats possible I havnt stated taking to bits yet. Although bike is in good shape , very low miles etc,etc. I will start with suggestions of filling filter and injecting some oil into housing. At least its on the bench and not in the garden.Thanks

The oil non return valve is probably the culprit here. Because of start up with No fill on the filter on first start got ya. Follow Neville Lush instructions to fix this. i hope your engine ends up unscathed

Thanks. Last night filled filter, injected oil into housing and re-tried result- same as before. However left overnight tried hour ago and light went straight out and there is obvious circulation. All good now- as long as there has been no damage.

Hi chaps, have just drained oil and changed filter.Put oil in tank to upper level about 4 ltrs. Started bike oil light does not go out,oil remains in tank at same level. Any help would be welcome. cheers

Don't forget to top off/check the level after all of this confusion !
