My son has been investigating an oil leak at the starter motor. We took the bottom bolt out and it was covered in oil. From here a drip was falling on the floor every night. When we took starter motor off, we found the O ring broken and it looked like it had been pinched when the motor was fitted. Luckily, I had one, years of overhauling caterpillars. No way, I was paying £8 including postage from a dealer. I have got very short arms
. O ring size is 47x45x1.5. Readily available for approximatley 50p or 65cents
