Some where, may have been at the OP, there is a list of what fits. There are several varying in quality. Only a few will allow the chrome cover, but you don't care. I think the post at the OP has been removed. I think oil is a swear word.

As of now, Triumph only has one type of spin-on oil filter.
The Rocket shares that with the Daytona and which ever other bikes use the spin-on filter. Anything that fits the Daytona should fit the Rocket, though like RedR3 said, not all will fit with the chrome cover.

The following list is info I saved over the lasy year.

Here are the part numbers that will work,
but not all of them will work with the Rocket's OEM chrome filter cover.

Oh why, oh why did I go to this old thread. I just bought two of the lifetime Scotts oil filters, one for my Rocket and one for my Sprint RS. Now, how can I hide this from my wife? :?:

The ST7317 from Wally World works good. You can put 6 quarts of oil and be done with it. The chrome cover fits but 1" of filter is showing so spray that with black bumper paint before you put it on. The chrome and black look good.

Hi all. This is my first post. Yesterday I ordered a 07 R3 Touring model in graphite and blue. Should be here next week I'm told, we'll see. Anyway, I also own a 07 Triumph Tiger and 03 Honda Goldwing. I noticed that the Goldwing oil filter looks identical to the Triumph filter that fits the Tiger. The only deference is the Honda logo on the side. Even looks like it was made in the same factory. If the R3 uses the same filter as the Tiger then the Honda filter should work. Much cheaper than the Triumph one. This is where I get the Honda Filter. http://www.hondadirectlineusa.com/store ... =893293464

I've had my '06 standard Roc for 2 months and want to go ahead with an oil change. The engine is blacked-out and the chrome cover on the oil filter looks great and I don't want to give it up. Besides the obvious Triumph filter, what others of the "good" quality filters are verified to fit under the chrome filter? Does the nut on the end of the K&N prevent the use of the chrome cover? I live too far away from a Triumph dealer to drive there conveniently so I need to mail order.
