2023 Triumph R3 GT, 2022 Moto Guzzi V85TT,
Just got this bike with 30K on it. Was suppose to have been serviced about a 100 miles ago. I still change out the fluids when I get a bike. Dropped the engine oil. , moved to the Final drive . Plan to get the transmission as soon as I put the real wheel back on.
Problem is that I can not find any place that tells me how much oil to put where.
I have a copy of the owners & shop manuals on a CD , but they seem to skip that table . I would appreciate it if one of you experienced hands could share that bit of info. If you happen to have the fork fluid weight and amount ,I can use that for later this year.
Thanks in Advance

Not sure how much a vespa takes:p I take a long piece of tubeing and suck the oil into it then put the tubeing in the fill hole and let it drain in once it starts to overflow you have enough.
Be very carefull when replacing the plug you removed to fill it up torque it to the correct specs go to tight and it will shear.
I use Mobil1 75w-90 I have used it for the last 40000miles with no problem the amount of oil to use going by my paper work is .17 litres as I said not much. I may be wrong so hopefuly someone will correct me if needed - I think the torque setting is 12nm

In the Service Manual under General Specifications (pg 1.16 in mine), the Final Drive capacity is .17 liters (5.7 US fluid ounces). Not much.

The engine oil capacity is 5.4 liters (5.7 US quarts) with a filter change. Speaking of filters, the Mobil 1 M8-108 is an exact duplicate of the Triumph filter and is available at Autozone.

Don't bother changing the transmission oil. There ain't any.

Thanks Scott in Exile! Bought my TR3 late last summer. My last and finest bike! Live in LA and headed for Alaska next week.
