Oh yeah boys we are going back to Bonneville Speed Week in 2025

Perhaps affected at over 300mph.
Hard to believe an affect at under 200mph.

I've drilled both my clutch and brake levers on my Thruxton R. Additionally I pulled the brake pads away from the front and rear brakes.

If you watch my 2021 run vid below you can see pumping the front brake lever a dozen times before anything happens. It's a bit tricky if you get excited pumping the brake lever and get too much pressure and you go down fast at least on salt.

We got 151 mph on a 100 rwhp Thruxton R so it certainly didn't hurt. I ran another bike besides the Rocket 3 without front rotors and calipers which worked out fine and got 140 mph out of a 85 rwhp Triumph. I did plumb the front brake lever to operate the rear brake to make loading and unloading easier.

Thanks for the explanation, never thought about that.
