Tc I'm glad you got home safe mate .i know you and Catherine are strong people and you will be there to support your loved family members over the comming weeks .my thoughts are with you mate.

Thanks fellas , appreciate your thoughts and kind words. Difficult times and everyone is just doing their best to deal with it the best they can .. all you can do in reality.

Be awesome to do a five day ride around Tassie straight after RDU Victoria next year. Know it's difficult to find the time and money to do these trips but .. nothing quite like f#ckin off for a few days unrestrained riding in beautiful country with likeminded fellas. Be especially good for any of the overseas Owners to experience what is arguably some of the most scenic country in Australia.

I'm a definite starter. Come on fellas, put you hands up so we can look at what arrangements are needed.

For any of the Owners considering a Tassie trip next year a warning .. Richard has an 'outfit' that he insisted on wearing while on the ship crossing over from the Mainland . Must admit I felt a little .. well weird... walking around as he referred to the other passengers as "landlubbers" and threatened others with "walking the plank"

Whilst that sounds like a great idea I would have to give it a miss as I will have to be on duty at the track (MotoGP Phillip Island) on the Thursday morning after "RDU Melbourne".
But in saying that, others that were wanting to take in the MotoGP could do it as a filler between the RDU and MotoGP as the action doesn't start to hot up till Saturday with Qualifying, Friday is practices and Aussie SBK racing.
my plans will be to hang around Melbourne /Geelong area till Wednesday morning then over to Island to set up camp with the other Marshalling Officals as we have to be on duty first thing Thursday

While talking about making arrangements those that are planning on Staying in hard accommodation in Cowes (Phillip Island) and not the track side camping will want to book it early as the the Island Accommodation can fill up Quickly

I'm up for Tassie Jaunt Straight after Vic RDU. Count me in.

.......That suit was so annoying! Almost as bad as the sumo wrestler suit he wore into the shower room.
