Heck

What a boring ride it would be if the weather was sunny and nice the whole trip.....Rain, wind and mud gives the ride character. Some of my most remembered rides was to include rough weather. Gives you something to talk about years later

My wife and I went to ride the Dragon at Deals Gap....rode for 2 days then to head home on Sunday morning...Went to bed Sat. night 56*F woke up at 6:30 am looked out the window and there was 2 inches of snow on the ground and 19*F.
Now that was a ride home to remember...Stopped snowing just east of Asheville NC

Ya'll Just be safe and enjoy what ever you ride into.....Makes a great story...can't wait to hear the rest....:D

Lot of rain for about the last 3-4 hours, road like glass and then tram tracks, but all good. Not raining today (yet) and forecast for Tassie looks promising. Went and saw the Ponters creation last night. That thing will be worth the wait; only hope it comes together before we leave, otherwise dear Anthony will be on his wife's scooter. We slipped the guys at garage a few bucks to make that happens.

Pics from Ponters' back yard.

Thanks fellas .. Richard be responsible for pics .. 7 to 15 degrees in Hobart today. Better than where Donny's off to .. leaves for Vietnam tomorrow , first trip overseas since he went to the States two decades ago .. f#ck being in Vietnam when a Category 5 cyclone hits. Tassie will do me ;)

I went through a nasty typhoon hit in November 1971. Need to get back there sometime. Maybe a motorcycle tour.
