Thanks to Richard and Malcy for their help in linishing, line boring ,surface refinishing on my mother****in prick of a throttle this morning..cable broke last night. Up at sparrowfart trying to sort the sucker out. Ended up riding all day with the throttle working backwards. Came so close to burying myself two foot into a couple of cutting when I rolled the stupid throttle the wrong way..had the poor bike valve bouncing a couple of times. What a nightmare it was getting to Hobart to get a new cable made up... Thanks heaps Flyreels for putting me onto Cablemates.. Stoked to be able to ride without risking life and limb again.

Too much to say. This place is motorcycle heaven.
Yesterday's riding was the best I've ever had. TC struggled thru with sticking throttle on roads that not only deserved better, they demanded it. Got to Strahan and his pull cable broke. Bodgied a fix this morning but he had to ride to Hobart with a reverse throttle. Flyreels offered bits off his bike but we got to Hobart in time for a replacement.
Stopped for a feed at a pub in Cygnet and the owner rang every nearby pub and town to try to find us rooms for the night.
Out bikes are currently parked in the dining room down stairs on the dancefloor.
That's just some of it.
Ponters' Victory made him too sick to ride.
Some great road signs I have to get a pic of.
Queenstown has some of the most amazing and unique scenery I've ever seen and a road not unlike Stelvio Pass - and I'm regretting not stopping and taking any pics.
Every road is a great road and leave anything I've ridden anywhere for dead.

Absolutely...Awesome

Never would I have thought Australia would look like that....The last picture above looks just like the Cherohala Skyway 4 hrs from my home in North Carolina. Plum beautiful there where you guys are....

I can't even see how TC was able to ride with a bad throttle through country like that...I guess he did think he was going to kill himself a bunch of times...

I must have missed something.....What happen to Pointer and his Victory that made him sick??

Flying Foxes...You are kidding me....They are in neighbor hoods where people live....I would Sheet myself if one of them things came close to me..

Just shows how little we here in the USA knows about the Land Down Under.....I know I will never get to see your country ...but it is some where I have always wanted to go...Life is a Beach ...then you die..

You guys ride safe....take a bunch of Pics. for an Ol'Man that wishes he was there with you..

Thanks again

Looks great guys . Definitely plan on making the trip down to tassie in the future for sure. Stay safe all.
Joey yeah flying foxes everywhere here in south east Queensland we get swarms of them in the trees at night or as the sun is setting and they are fairly big bastards too . they even get swarms of them in the middle of the goldcoast in the trees right near the highrises and stuff.

Wow what a trip, glad you fellows are having a great time. Weather in Utah is holding so still have some riding time left. Glad TC was able to pilot The Beast with the cable issue, more of a man than myself that's for sure.
Ride safe mates!
