Sorry to hear a couple of riders have gravel rash of varying degrees. Roads here in Tassie are a combination of heaven & hell. Hoped to catch up with the mob but had to work all day on site & Sunday as well (make hay when sun shines!!) so have a good fang. If you get deep South give us a call (Ponters has my number) would love to chew the fat & swap war stories.

Palm trees..????

Dang I learn something everyday.....absolutely beautiful there..

Would love to see some pic of bikes and landscape features if you have time..Some of us Yanks do not have a clue as to how your country looks..

I have watched a lot of TV showing Down under ......But never seen a palm tree

Will do my best. If not, there's a few cameras on some of the bikes and there should be some good shots and footage in due course.

wait till you hit the west coast then you will really know what twisty stuff is ........... heavenly curves and sweepers

Looks like you guys are having a good time. Try not to bend anymore bikes. Best wishes for a speedy recovery to the boys that went down.

Yes there's more to Australia than gum trees. Any where north of Rockhampton you can get hit on the head by a coconut. There was a time back in the late 80's to early 90's everyone in QLD had to have palm trees in there yard or planted in a line each side of there driveway. Used to be palm tree farms everywhere not very many left now most people seem to be over palm trees.
