Scouting today. 240 mile loop from Asheville to Marshall to Hot Springs to Del Rio, Tn. Stopped at The Barbarosa, then back through the Gorge on I 40 to Maggie via 276. Dinner at Country Vittles. Fuel and on the BRP at Soco Gap and rode it back to Asheville. Exited the BRP at 9:01 PM. BRP was fogged in, we chased rain all the way, nice try Jay, temps were a very cool 62 with dense damp fog. Beautiful. Almost no one on the Parkway and only a couple of other bikes going toward Maggie.

October is the last tree leaf peeking season before the BIG ONE's ( Thanksgiving and Christmas). Things Will be open, trailers everywhere.
