Water pumps are fairly simple to repair. The seals/bearings are what's replaced, not the impellor unless it's damaged.

usually at first break down the mechanical seal therefore there's a hole under pump whereof coolant drop out and tell you for the broblem " Mechanical seal agreement expiring"
Triumph sell the spare parts = its NEW WATER PUMP. who now needs a new pump? When you can replace NEW seals:sadwavey:

If you get damage on water pump "wing" impellor so will not leak from the hole. I can not find no reason for it breakdown? What kind of damage you mean?
but a handy man fix it as well:mrgreen:

so the impellor has nothing to do with this seal issue.

Triumph is notoriously unhelpful when it comes to customer service, in fact they are abysmally lacking any sincere interest in being a legitimately consumer friendly, customer-oriented corporation in my experience.

The dealer has a lot to do with it. I like my dealer ,apart from a few minor things, they have always listened to me and given good advice. (JCS Perth)
