No more matte blacks R3Rs in Texas

My local dealer tells me that there are no matte black R3Rs in Texas.
I called another dealer that showed one online, and he told me the same thing.
Called my dealer back to get one ordered, and he told me that Triumph wasn't going to do any more matte blacks this year. So, they make em in 4 colors, only offer 2 in the states and they are out of one this early in the season.
Let me know if anyone knows different.
Normally don't have this much trouble spending this much money.
I knew I shouldn't have sat on it. Definitely shouldn't have started it!

Just get the gloss black and spray the readily available "matte" black spray paint and touch up as needed...it's not like you are worried about the shine of the "polished" paint.

Good luck...hope you can eventually nail one down that you will like.

Whatever colour you get, you'll grow to love it. If not on your ride home, no more than 30 minutes into the first night it's in your garage when you can't stop popping out to check on it.

Check out D&D Cycles in Pensacola, FL. They had two the last time I was over there; month or so ago.

you have to be pretty quick off the mark over here to grab one when they come up or you go on the waiting list. they don't seem to hang about on the showroom floor for long and i don't think triumph can keep up with the demand.one biker watering hole i use generally has 40 - 50 bikes there, the last time i stopped in at least 50% of them where triumphs.
