2021 Rocket 3GT
I just got my 2021 R3GT today, so last night I grabbed the first phone mount on Amazon that was overnight and looked decent, and it turned out to be very nice and sturdy. I included some pics and the link. I'll eventually get the Lamonster R3 RAM Mount if I can find a decent phone holder with a 1" socket (most are .67 I think). Then again this one fits my chosen windscreen (Madstad Adjustable Pivoting Windshield), I'll just keep it. Here's the link, Amazon.com.

Yikes. Never put a $$$ phone on a cheap holder.
That contraption looks like the word sounds.
Farkle
Ram mount quick grip is the best mount on the market
That's what I thought when I first ordered it, but thought it would get me by till I got something better. Surprisingly All the important parts are metal, well padded operates smoothly and very well made. The vibration absorbers work pretty well, it doesn't alleviate all shaking at high speeds but enough.

No pics with the phone in it?
Sorry, wasn't fast enough until my wife got home and I could use her phone. Vertically I'm sure will not fit under a different windscreen, but horizontally I think would be fine. It also has a ram mount type 1 in socket adapter you can see in the previous pictures and you could buy a longer one to set it more out to the side. They're about $30 on Amazon. That red knob on the back tightens so You can't push the release lever to spread the clamps out and get your phone or it can't shake loose. When you tighten that it's solidly in there and not going anywhere.

Looks like an interesting mount. I just picked this one up. I've been using a quad lock mount until now with their vibration dampener. Sometimes on the R3R the mount is bouncing around so much I can't read the phone. I can almost never get the phone just right to put it on quickly. Another issue is it is a pain to adjust with all the little teeth to secure the angle. Absolutely a lot harder to get the angle just right and I still have it right yet.

The one I've listed below is super easy to place and remove my phone. If using it vertically, it has a nice sun shade (if you want to put it on. I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max and no issues with it fitting. I've ran it way up toward Vmax with no issues. It has a RAM ball type mount but the arm itself is plastic. I used another RAM arm that was a bit longer to have it where I wanted it. Pretty good reviews as well. I might pick up the Hockeyfreak listed and do a comparison. I do know the quad lock is staying off.

I can't put anything else on my case. I'm on S22 Ultra Android, and have a Magsafe case and love it, so I have Magsafe everywhere, my car, my nightstand, power banks... I also use Samsung pay everywhere, don't even carry cards anymore. No way I'm blocking the charging or NFC.

My quad lock case supports Magsafe charging on my iPhone. So no issues with it. I even have one of their Magsafe chargers on another bike. It isn't as fast though as directly wired to the phone.

Never is
