Nice North Texas ride

Jay, you still up for this on the 19th? I don't know if I can pull off 26th

Hey Clint, I've been thinking about you the last couple days. Yes, the 19th works for me. The wife and I are going to Florida to visit my sister the week of Thanksgiving and I wont be back until late the 25th so I'm out for the 26 also.

Can we hook up in Mt. pleasant first thing, around 8:00? Maybe a couple other folks would like to join us. Nothing like a nice 500 - 600 mile ride on a beautiful Saturday.

That'd be great! Since you've done this a number of times and know the route, just elk me where to be n when to be there. @skydog1000 @sonny @mexican - meet us somewhere in the middle???

@rjkusse mentioned joining in also from your area.

I'm gonna leave this one all up to Jay @Big Gun :D

OK, this what I’ve come up with.

Mount Pleasant 8:00 AM Nov 19th

30 to 259 North to Broken Bow

70 East to De Queen

59 North to Mena

88 to Queen Wilhelmina Lodge for Lunch

270 to 1 to Talihina (this is the best part)

271 to Paris

Part ways for home.:(

My map program shows 325 miles. Add getting to Mount Pleasant and home from Paris makes the trip around 550 miles.

Only issue I see is sometimes there can be some serious fog as you go up towards Queen Wil, kind of a show stopper.

Mexican, do you see an intercept point.

Anyone who would like to join is very much welcome!

It is a lot of great saddle time and not a lot of stopping. I like to be home by 6:00PM.

Again – pending the weather. If the rain chance is over 20% I’ll go another time.

Comments please.
