New Zard Pipe for the 2500cc

Africa has its problems. Our government in South Africa has established itself as a pacesetter in both corruption and untouchability. Our local municipality is bankrupt, meaning that service delivery is poor, but also that they own fewer functioning speed traps. No ethanol in our fuel (we are still at Clean Fuels Phase 1), no snow and grit on our roads (we ride all year round) - potholes aplenty though - no EURO-(pick any number), mostly loud bikes, no issues with lane-splitting (did not know there is any other way), no license plates in cities (because that is how we protest automated toling), seriously good mountain passes, no pollution issues or related legislation (we are flanked by two oceans), no cops off highways (meaning no speed limits off highways too), no ICE deadlines (nor EV start lines). The list goes on and on - and we will probably remain where we are for many, many years. I think I'll stay (-:

Sounds much like the US (except for the corruption part).

I have a Comp Werkes (no baffle) on my TFC and got a thumbs up from a cop on a motorbike yesterday.

Now would be the time to have loud pipes in America. It seems the cops have more pressing issues than issuing citations such as keeping their jobs.
Actually my wife got ticketed for a loud pipe on her H-D Softail Slim in Laguna Beach, CA two or three years ago.

I think I'll stay (-:
Visited Johannesburg several times (work related, 20 years ago) two vivid memories, one was in the car to the company hq and seeing all those "armed response" signs at most houses, second one was in hq itself and employers pulling out their guns to put them in their locker

other then that : great weather, nice food and some nicer pubs And forgot one memory : the guys in the pub urging me to not take a taxi back to the guesthouse only later learned about the taxi wars.

I have 2.4-meter high, double-brick walls with spikes and an 8kV electric fence on top, a single electric ram-proof entrance, a 3-tier alarm connected to the armed response provider, eight cameras on a 48-hour loop (two outside the yard, watching the entrance) and two large dogs. I need to keep the dogs at the back, though, to prevent them from being poisoned. I also have a 20 kVA diesel generator and 5k litre water tank - and sufficient fire extinguishers to provide my own fire protection. But so does several people down the street, if not most - meaning it only seems increasingly awkward if you notice someone without it. It was not like this here 20 years earlier, and I guess you will need at least some of the same 20 years hence.

Is your name Scarface?

I guess you'll be safe during a zombie invasion!

So, this post went quite far but, we did not see much more pictures, nor hear any sound. I felt obliged as regards sound
Here is a very small extract, bike at idle, and rev up to 3k.
My Zard is Euro5 (so catalyzer AND baffles).

Sorry, pretty much never recorded anything before.
Recorded bike on side stand at rest in an open shelter (walls + ceiling wood/plaster, floor concrete, opened to outdoor), from a camera mic standing on floor 2m behind bike outdoor (nearer saturated the mic or app).
The recording app (default phone one) unfortunately adapted/normalized sound gain while recording (nothing I can do against that), so idle is not louder than reving (which is obivously not the case in real life...).
Apart from that, the sound is pretty accurate (recorded range is 35Hz to somewhere at 18Khz, there is a lot below 300Hz, so you have to use speakers/earphones that can render that... or what SoundCloud compression left of it).

I'm sure bike goes faster. If not, next best thing, sounds like it would!
Maybe they will come out with a great recorded sound, just mount hidden speakers, switch to turn on. Way cheaper.
My Roland Rd 800 keyboard operates that way. Computer chip recorded sound of 200k Steinway 9 ft grand piano for each key. Sounds amazing! Fools the ear.

Not sure if someone has already asked this question but is the Zard pipe compatible with the Triumph factory side bags? The bags are a tight fit with the stock pipe.
