just incase you miss post... here wiseco piston part# and info
( copy & pasted ) below

Up for auction is a set of 3 forged Wiseco Hi-compression pistons and rings for a Triumph Rocket III. Comes complete with wrist pins and clips. These pistons raise the stock 8.7:1 ration to 11:1. Down below are some pictures to illustrate the difference between stock and the hi-comp pistons

These pistons are a Wiseco special order made for us and we are the only place you can get them from. We have installed this kit already into another bike with great results. If you have any questions about install please email.

Wiseco Part # 10299M10160

We can also get stock triumph gaskets, and a power commander with map at additon costs.

These pistons work best with the Jardine full exhaust system.

thanks drag---gonna let these other guys try'em out. lots of hp left in the ole 8.7 we haven't massaged yet. gonna be interesting to see how durable motor/trans is w/ these, if that's all they're changing. what does miami say? --john

tex ---8.7 's even bettter than 10.5 . ha. probably have ta put a fart plug on it ta get it to crank. ( if that could even be done!) gonna be interesting. -john

Hah! I don't know a **** thing about engine building John, I just listen to many, and extrapolate what I can! To me, it would seem 11 point slugs should work OK on 92 octane, and see a normally aspirtated benefit, but one would still need some cam work and porting work to see 185+ to the RW.

Nev is already busy doing this and that...I'm just depressed no one here has picked up the ball...especially with the better gas we have (so I've read).

nev and tracker---ya'll thank ole miami is hoo-dooin us? he's been extrapolating a long time ! i don't know squat about motor building--but every guy i know who goes hi-comp.--goes thru the whole motor--top and bottom end. has the numbers all worked out before he orders 1st part/ lifts the 1st wrench. and he usually ain't sunday cruisin (w/ motor) waving at the gals. we'll see i guess. john
