don't want to upset anyone but after walking away from a wreck and knowing how black and blue I was from hitting the tank I personally wouldn't touch the speedo visor with a 20ft poll, being an open face wearer I cringe at the thought of what it would have done to my face

Yea plus I like mine just the way it is. I've not had ANY problem with sun reflection off of the windshield. And I live and ride in the hot So Ca desert. I got rid of the Harley so I would quit buying chrome stuff to polish anyway!
