Just to bring this to a close. I went in for my 500 mile service and Eldon Avery a fellow Rocketeer come down and we had a great conversation and rode together for a bit.
He told me he had his seat custom formed. I sat on it and liked it.
So Saturday Emma and I rode over to Ride N' Leather. (after calling for an appointment Friday)
After a few questions he pointed us to Kammy's Cafe' for breakfast. He said it would take a couple hours.
2 1/2 hours later he tacks the cover back on the bike and we go for a 5 mile ride to see what we think. I mount the seat and I am flat footed on the ground. I am sitting in the saddle and don't feel like I am sitting on top of the seat anymore and I am sitting a little more forward and not reaching as far for the handlebars. We get back to the shop and take the seat off. He finishes stapling the cover on.
I did see him take the cover off and strip the cast foam off down to the base before it disappeared into the backroom. Before he put the cover on I saw layered foam and gel foam hand crafted to a totally different shape. After he put the cover on it looked pretty much stock. It does not feel that way.
An hour and forty minutes later we pull into our driveway and I know this is the best $350.00 I have spent on the bike since buying it. Emma sat on a demo saddle they had with a sheep skin on it. Looks like we will be going back for one of those. They take the full sheep skin, custom fit it to the seat for $209.00 while we wait another 2 hours.
If you can find someone in your area that does this I would highly recommend it. Here is the link to Ride N' Leather. They may be able to refer you to someone in your area.
My wife rides her own bike. The only reason I bought the dual is for a nice platform for my tail bag to sit on and not scratch the paint. Couldn't find a rack I liked.
