r3 roadster. 2012
hello
picked up a brand new rocket roadster last week. flat black. of course it started raining (pouring) in
seattle so i only have 300ish miles so far. been reading the forums trying to learn and picking out
all the changes i will need.

Another Aussie welcome. See you have a V2K as well. There'll be an old bull along soon enough to tell you what a clever lad you are. I reckon that's pretty smart myself.

Welcome trimix from down under. Sux when it rains - one good thing about Queensland being in a drought but it is the only good thing, we could use some of that rain in Queensland as our state is79% in drought.

In the few short weeks I've owned one I've discovered that I was spoiled with a spec'd up BMW before. If you haven't already done so you'll need a screen (ive just added the sports screen), maybe some sort of rack (just added a Fehling sissy bar rack) and maybe some luggage. but it doesn't seem to end there reading some of the stuff some people do to theirs ;)
Welcome to the money pit owners club, you'll love the R3 it's lovely to ride.

You can have some of the rain we've been having in the UK if you like. I'll Fed Ex it to you upon receipt of payment

canberra r3, i like the v2k but she is getting a little long in the tooth. pretty sure i sold it today. it is a great 2 up cruiser, not meant to be a speed demon but
will take you 800 miles in a day and you can still walk when you get there.

word warrior, ordered a screen on monday. two weeks out. also ordered a sissy bar and rack (tried to get a quick disconnect from mittzy but he said nope!)

i am going to need larger hand grips (stock are way to skinny), and am pretty sure i am going to add floor boards (the small brake and shifter levers have got to go)

anything else?
