Oh hell no. I can take you knocking my welding ability but not my bike. I have really been laid back but that is a bit much. The Rocket X is very special. Ten years in the making and Truimph did a great job. The bike by far is the best we have ever owned. All the bugs worked out after ten years of production and one of the best paint jobs of any production motorcycle ever made. Sleek and slick all the way around. I guess It may not be for everybody but come now. They only made 500 world wide for a reason. So if you got left out so be it. Not really pissed off just telling like it is,

Sonny,
I love my blacked out Rocket X, especially with the shorter pipes and I don't care what anyone else thinks. I'm on here to learn from other owners experiences and hopefully for them to benefit from mine
Looks sharp. like the rack. Mine is stock plus a standard triumph sissy bar and rack which is powder coated. looking at replacement of stock pipes with a set made by viking. Plan on getting the oz claw which will be about it for mods.
I am seriously debating buy up #55. Would have it shipped, swap all my aftermarket goodness over and leave the '14 R3R in **** near stock condition and sell it for most of what the X will cost me.
Well, dealer is working on sourcing me a Rx, find out next week what it'll cost for the swap, but, I have a number and it's more than that number, well, I'll just be content with my R3R.
