I just went through the configurator on the US site and came up with Base Model - $22,600 and as configured (Touring, all the way baby): $25,088.00.

Probably will have to wait a few years.

Are these the final prices for buyers or will you have to pay additional (local) taxes etc. in the US?

They will add Tax, Document fees, destination charges, title and license plates

They will add those things and they really are costs to the dealer. I asked the price for my TFC this weekend and told the manager that I already told him I would not pay over 28K. He said he would give the best he could without loosing his job and I do believe him because he has done well for me in the past.

The dealers do not make the same profit margins on all the sales.

If we follow the markup % from the Thruxton R to TFC @ 139.61%.

R3 R = 21,900 x 139.61% = 30,574.59‬ as the MSRP

Let's hope the mothership is not forcing them to a price as they will be 7-8k above your max

They( dealer and Triumph) have openly advertised 29K usd but as I was asking earlier if this was a firm number or could they bring it down some? I have never seen a MSRP on a 30k item that could not come down a grand.

FYI - Just got an e-mail from Triumph announcing the prices of the 2020 Rockets 3.

Rocket 3R is $21,900 USD

Rocket 3GT is $22,600 USD

Yep, I already have a deposit on a black 3R from when I declined the TFC a few months ago...

Wait a year and they will be 12k. aaaand they offer you 1,200 for your Roadster in trade hahaha.

I got an email from Triumph too. Very helpful it was. Australian pricing is POA for the R and POA for the GT.

Being 'connected' and all, is that dis-ambiguous Triumph dealer code for 'Point of Apprehension' Richard?
