Why not buy the full header and muffler combo?
 
Cost to much. All you end up with is a exhaust system that improves your torque and overall performance. Not worth the money. Besides it is not that loud unless you get it. What fun is that? I mean sitting still it is way to tame sounding. Of course I guess if you spent most of your time at stop lights and traffic it is just no fun at all. Don't really have that problem.

That IS the plan but unfortunately funds would not permit the purchase of both together! Something to do with 'We need a new car first before you start wasting more money on that thing'... I expect you've all come across this scenario at one time or another
 
No we have not. Wife has a very nice Chevy pickup four wheel drive kind. I got my 2013 fiat ABarth with less mileage than my 2015 Rocket X. Of course we do have the 2010 Harley fatboy with more mileage than both. The car is for rain and snow. The bikes are for keeping me happy and riding everyday. She understand that if i do not ride it is not good. Never had her *****.
